Bastion Entertainment is a small gaming company founded with just a handful of guys. They specialize in fantasy RPG (Role Playing Games) and the name was a perfect fit, so the logo just about designed itself.

At first I went a very whimsical route and created a floating castle, something straight out of a fantasy movie. However this was not what the client was looking for and was a little too busy.

So, I kept the type treatment and took a 3-d view of a castle. I also used the bastions (aka bulwarks) as a highlight of the design. From there I did some custom modification on the typography to give it a more whimsical and fantasy look.

A simple design that is clean and unique. Playing RPGs is almost as fun as making logos!
