This application was an idea of mine, and so I put together some branding elements one Saturday afternoon. It took about 3-4 hours for everything–I was "in-the-zone" at Tully's.
The concept was simple: gamify any little thing in day-to-day activities. Create new ones for others; submit them to a pool, get points. Make money by creating sponsored games.
It is common vernacular to call game missions "mishes" or "a mish", as shorthand. Since in technical specification it was a true mashup of many APIs, used to create missions, mission mashup seemed like a perfect fit. Taking this alliteration further, I created a shortened concept that was more unique.
Below are some of many logo variations and concepts I created before finally settling on the guitar pick shapes and color scheme, as well as color-shifting "dynamic" logo.
The application homepage was very simple, meant to highlight a video only, enticing users to immediately sign-up.
